  • Dennis – Already have toolbox talks with operations teams. Incorporating agenda item to talk about CI tools and techniques. Also driving basic 5S techniques – increase visual impact

  • Susan – Process flow map everything! Going back to basics – core behavior change. Leaders need to change from within.
    Need to address WIIFM for leaders. Everyone wants the best patient outcomes

  • Oscar – Need to influence from the top down. Storytelling helps.

  • Susan – Implemented badge buddies. Shows belt-level on ID badges

  • Oscar – Involve the stakeholder early if possible.

  • Susan – Look for low hanging fruit / easy wins. Make them look good

  • Susan – Can CI training be baked into orientation. Set expectations early

  • Oscar – Identify priorities of key leaders and tie CI activity to initiatives
